MUDFORD POST OFFICE CLOSURE PROTEST WALK

On Friday 28th March 2008 a protest walk took place from Mudford Post Office to what Post Office Ltd. refer to as the nearest post office in Cavalier Way, Yeovil

Over 120 residents of Mudford, friends, nearby villagers, disabled, children, Post Mistress Angela Taylor, David Laws MP, County Councillor Sam Crabb, District Councillor Tony Capozzoli, Mudford Parish Council Chairman Yvonne Rowlands, Parish Councillors Graham Hardes, Maggi Barlow, Brian Langmead, Geoff Brown, Parish Clerk Dinah Cheek and followed by PCSO Mel Austin vehicle, took part in the walk along the A359 to highlight the hazardous suggested route - see following photographs.
